1. Bucket pose first.

I always start the newborn session with the wrapped posed and place the newborn baby in the bucket. This helps the baby to relax and fall asleep in the very beginning of the photoshoot and create a calm environment for the entire family. Depending of the chosen theme and color I photograph this setup on brown or white floor. Parents can choose between soft pastel and dark colors. I incorporate accessories like headbands, hats, teddies or hearts to complete the entire look. Check some example below.

2. Flokati rug pose.

After the bucket poses I move to the beanbag and my second setup with flokati rug. In my Maryland studio I have several colors to choose from: soft blue, cream, white, pink, purple, violet, green, brown. I continue with the wrapping poses and try to capture some images in the potato pose and laying down pose incorporating beautiful and adorable accessories. This setup is one of my favorites. 3. Timeless images on the beanbag.

One of the most requested newborn images in my studio in Rockville Maryland are simple portraits on the beanbag. I choose cute outfit and place baby on the belly, on the back and on the chin. I incorporate matching headbands, crowns and bow for baby girls dnd hats for baby boys.

4. Tiny bed.

How cute is to incorporate a tiny bed into the photoshoot? Little bundle of joy laying calmly on the small pillow, hugging a teddy bear and wearing a sleepy hat. Sometimes parents choose colorful dresses for their baby girls and we are able to incorporate plenty of matching flowers to create the final image.

5. Bamboo props.

I am very excited to share with you all 2 bamboo props I have in my Maryland studio. One in soft brown color to create timeless images for mostly boys and one in white parents choose very often for their baby girls.

6. Tiny feet.

We can’t forget to take some images of the tiny baby feet. I usually photograph small feet without any accessories or I add a small heart.

7. Digital backdrop.

I always incorporate digital backdrop into the final gallery. Parents love to choose the once they would like to have for their family to cherish forever.

I start add those very special photographs to every newborn gallery starting September. By the time the images are delivered to the parents they can share it with their family and friends. One great idea for adding excitement to your Christmas photos is to have Santa join your session. However, if he is unavailable, a digital backdrop can also do the trick! Newborn photographs of baby Liana.

On today’s blog we are happy to share some of the most beautiful newborn photographs of baby girl Liana. It was such a honor to take pictures of this princess in our studio in Maryland. We started with some wrapping poses on the white floor. Parents had chosen purple color for the session. we were able to incorporate adorable pink teddy bear, hat and headband and capture some sleepy wrapped poses of the baby places in the bucket. Check below some examples of the few first images from the session.

We continue this beautiful Gaithersburg Maryland Newborn Photography Session with capturing timeless portraits on the beanbag covered with cream fabric. Baby Liana wered soft pink dress with matching headband. She looked absolutely stunning. We couldn’t forget to incorporated a crown as well.

Newborn Photography | Rockville Maryland : Baby Girl

Check todays’s blog and beautiful setups prepared by MD Professional Newborn Studio Natalia Brembor Photography for baby Oshun. I usually photographed newborn babies up to 21 days of live. However, Princess Oshun was 2 month old at the session and still below 10 pounds. it was such a joy to capture those beautiful pictures for the family.

1. Wrapping First.

At my MD Professional Newborn studio located in Rockville, I always start a newborn photography session with a swaddle to help the little one to relax and peacefully ease into the session.The swaddle creates a feeling of safety and peace for your baby by imitating the cozy environment of the womb.

For this beautiful baby Oshun, parents have chosen pink, cream and blue. I used the first chosen color and wrapped the baby and placed her in the bucket to capture the most adorable poses to date. After we decided to paced the baby on the pink flokati rug and take more beautiful portraits.This Little princess remained awake during this initial swaddled scene, but soon after being wrapped up she felt asleep.

2. Simplicity : Beanbag Portraits.

After the wrapped part of the newborn session in my Maryland studio in Rockville Maryland, we decide to take some portraits on the cream backdrop on the beanbag. This is my most favorite part of the baby session. We can capture close up portraits of the beautiful face, eye lashes and tiny feet.

3. Personalized images.

Parents requested some setups with Piano as well. They are both musicians. So it was very important to incorporate some musical elements into the newborn photoshoot of their baby girl. I did one setup with white piano and one with black piano. They felt in love with both of them and decided to keep them as a part of their final selection.

What’s crucial when taking photos of newborns and their siblings.

When it comes to newborn sibling family photography, it’s crucial to let the kids be themselves and not force anything. My goal is usually to capture two different poses with the siblings in my newborn studio in Rockville Maryland. But just one perfect shot can make everything perfect. My favorite pose is having the baby and older sibling lying face up on a soft cream flokati rug. And getting that adorable cheek-to-cheek moment without any risk to the baby. This works best when the older sibling is comfortable being close to the new addition.

Lastly, proper preparation ahead of time is essential for a successful session. I always recommend to bring some snacks for the older siblings to make sure they are happy and comfortable. The outfit is also very important. The best images are those with soft, pastel colors and coordinating shades. I always wrap the newborn baby to make sure she is safe and warm for the session and family photos.

If not, we will move on to plan B. I enjoy capturing a seated photo and ensuring the baby is comfortably wrapped with proper support for their head and neck. To add some variety, we can have the older sibling sit with legs crossed while holding the baby upright in their lap with arms folded for added stability. It is essential to have a parent nearby in case of any quick needs. The session in my newborn studio in Rockville Maryland wouldn’t be complete without playing peek-a-boo. We also like to sing all the favorites songs of the little siblings.

Having several siblings allows for a lovely, cozy environment for the baby. This pose is one that I like to capture with baby in the center, encircled by their other siblings. It’s a favorite among moms because it showcases their bond with their little ones. In my newborn studio in Rockville Maryland when posing multiple siblings, I always start with the eldest and younger siblings usually imitate their actions.

Taking photos of twins together.

Occasionally, the siblings are twins! Generally, they have a strong bond since before birth. They can be positioned snuggled and intertwined in props, or in natural laying down positions. They also do well propped on each other. Twins are accustomed to each other’s companionship and thrive when posed together.
