Maryland newborn photoshoot

The significance of printed photographs.

As a Rockville Maryland-based professional newborn photographer, clients often ask me if it important to print professional newborn photos in today’s digital age. With numerous devices and social media outlets available for storing and sharing images, it’s a valid question. However, there are several reasons why printing cherished memories continues to hold significance.

To start, physical prints truly emphasize the art and skill of the newborn photographer. Unlike digital screens, which may not always fully capture an image’s depth and quality, prints provide a tactile experience that allows for a more intimate connection with your photographs. Additionally, choosing to print professional newborn photos ensures the preservation of memories. Unlike digital platforms at risk of loss or damage from system crashes or viruses, printed photos can last for generations when stored properly, providing future family members with the opportunity to cherish your memories as well.

Size and quality matter!

At Natalia Brembor Photography, I understand the importance of print size and quality when it comes to preserving your images. To ensure you make the right choice, take into account the display location and viewing distance. Larger prints of professional newborn photos work well in large spaces, while smaller prints are better suited for intimate settings.

Quality print materials and services are crucial for preserving your memories. Natalia Brembor Photography offers archival-grade materials that are designed to resist fading and damage over time. And with our professional printing service, you can trust that your photographs will be accurately reproduced using expert equipment and techniques.

Adding prints to your home decor.

Wall art is an excellent way to add a personal touch to your living space by showcasing your one-of-a-kind memories. There are various options for displaying prints, such as mounting them on walls, arranging them creatively on shelves, or including them in photo albums and portrait boxes. Natalia Brembor Photography offers framed prints, canvas and acrylic choices for decorating your walls.

Sharing printed photographs with family and friends

In this digital era where sharing is instant, a physical print from a skilled newborn photographer can be a delightful surprise for loved ones. A professionally framed print makes for a considerate and intimate present to grandparents, godparents, or other family members, surely to be held dear. It may also be worth considering printing additional copies of your preferred photos to include in holiday cards or thank-you notes.

Marking Milestones with Printed Photos.

During your child’s journey, there will be numerous significant events that call for a session with a skilled photographer. Capturing these changes and growth in physical prints will allow you to create a meaningful compilation of memories that you can cherish in the future. From their first days to their graduation, consider obtaining top-notch prints to commemorate each of your family’s significant occasions.

Reconsidering the Importance of Digital Files.

While digital images allow for easy sharing, they don’t have the same emotional impact or lasting quality as physical prints. As a professional newborn photographer, I’ve noticed that clients often neglect their digital files and don’t fully appreciate the memories captured. Choosing to print your professional photos is an investment in artwork that will bring joy and nostalgia for years to come, preserving your shared history for future generations to cherish.

Conclusion.

In short, investing in a professional photographer is a smart decision for capturing and preserving meaningful memories. At Natalia Brembor Photography, I take great pride in my expertise and ability to deliver top-notch prints of your photos. In today’s fast-paced digital world, it’s crucial to consider the value of tangible prints, as they stand out from the influx of digital images and truly preserve your cherished moments.

While digital storage is convenient, physical prints of your newborn’s photos are ideal for sharing with loved ones and preserving for generations to come. They guarantee superior quality and longevity, making them an invaluable heirloom. It is crucial to invest in high-quality prints as they hold priceless memories that deserve careful handling.

Ultimately, investing in an experienced newborn photographer for your professional photo prints is crucial. Collaborating closely with them ensures a timeless work of art that truly captures your newborn’s earliest moments. In today’s digital era, valuing printed professional photos allows you to stay connected to the tangible world and treasure precious memories beyond our screens. Do not hesitate to contact us today. Washington DC newborn Photographer, Washington DC newborn session

Welcome to the blog of Award Winning Newborn Photographer Natalia Brembor serving Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC area. On today’s post I will be sharing with you the stunning images of baby Isabella I took in January 2024 in my beautiful studio in Rockville Maryland. It was such a pleasure and honor to have this amazing family and to capture this flying newborn stage of their daughter.

Parents choose pink, purple and cream for the session so I prepare few setups based on those preferences. Baby was very calm and sleepy so I could capture many beautiful images and fill the gallery with additional digital backdrops. I started by placing the baby in the bucket on the cream floor. I incorporate hat, teddy, cream heart and floral headband. Images came out absolutely stunning.

After, I decided to move to the second setup. This time I placed the baby Isabella on the beanbag and a purple flokati rug. I also decided to change the wrap color to matches better the entire background. Check below the final result and hopefully you will fall in love with this as much as I do!

To finish the newborn photo session I added some digital backdrops. I couldn’t forget about my clients favorite moon images and floral photographs to tie the entire gallery together. Check the results below.

Washington DC Newborn Photographer | Best time to book

Washington DC newborn session

When it comes to booking a Washington DC Newborn Photographer, it’s recommended to schedule within the first 14 days of your baby’s birth. The ideal window is between day 5 and 10. There are several benefits to this timing. Your newborn’s age can greatly impact your session experience, but that doesn’t mean there is a “bad” time for photos. In fact, I always encourage capturing these precious moments whenever possible.. As a newborn photographer at Natalia Brembor Photography, my goal is to provide a seamless experience for families and that’s why I highly recommend scheduling the session sooner rather than later. This is my intentional approach behind it all.

The infant is becoming increasingly alert.

You may have heard other new parents mention how their baby suddenly becomes more alert around two weeks old. During the first couple of weeks, babies tend to sleep a lot and are mostly drowsy during the day. However, when they reach that stage, they’re awake more often and paying closer attention. Newborns usually sleep 18-20 hours a day, with longer naps during the day than at night. Unfortunately, this can make it challenging for parents to get a good night’s rest, but it does mean that they’re typically in a calm and sleepy state during photo shoots.

Around two weeks old, your baby may also experience a growth spurt and require frequent feedings, similar to their second or third night after birth when they’re trying to stimulate milk production for mom. As you can imagine, trying to take photos on this day can be quite difficult! After the first few weeks, babies become more alert and harder to settle down. This means it can take much longer (if at all) to get them into the perfect pose for a photo. Any slight movement during this process might wake them up, making it nearly impossible to capture the shot we want. That’s why newborns within their first week are much.

Infants develop quickly.

As your baby continues to grow and develop, you may notice rapid changes in their size. In fact, during the first two weeks alone, newborns can gain up to 250 grams per week! It’s remarkable how quickly they progress from being so small that they barely fill out a hospital outfit to needing a whole new wardrobe of sleep suits. And just like clothing, the beautiful props we use for newborn photography also become too small as your little one grows. As a Washington DC newborn photographer I put a lot of creativity and care into selecting unique pieces that will showcase your baby’s precious moments. It would be unfortunate if, on the day of the photoshoot, none of our carefully curated props fit your growing bundle of joy.

Becoming stronger each day.

As babies continue to grow, their muscles also develop over time, resulting in less flexibility and posing challenges. For example, you may envision your baby comfortably posed on their tummy, but it’s not uncommon for babies to begin rolling from front to back as early as 4 weeks old. To capture those highly desirable newborn photos that you’ve likely seen on social media and want displayed on your wall, scheduling a photo shoot within the first 14 days is recommended.

Impeccable skin for a newborn.

Is there anything more delicate and velvety than the skin of a fresh newborn? While some infants may experience “milk pimples” or rashes, and dry patches, it’s best to schedule a photoshoot with Washington DC newborn photographer – Natalia Brembor Photography – as soon as possible to capture their perfect newborn features.

Exceptions.

If a baby is born prematurely and requires care in the Special Care Nursery or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, we may not be able to take their newborn photos within the first 14 days. However, we will schedule would a session at our studio once it is safe for the baby. Please keep in mind that for safety reasons, we will modify some poses for these tiny ones. Therefore, we suggest keeping the baby wrapped during the shoot and refraining from nude photos.

When to schedule your newborn’s photo session.

Given the limited amount of time available to capture photos of your precious little bundle, we suggest booking a session with Washington DC newborn photographer during the pregnancy. Although I typically schedule sessions one week after your due date, we can be flexible if baby arrives early or decides to take their time entering the world. This also eliminates one less concern for you to remember once your little one arrives.

Professional Maryland Newborn Photographer | Raw Files

Maryland Newborn Photographer

In this blog, I will explain why I – professional Maryland newborn photographer – decided not to share RAW files with my clients. Let’s explore the simplicity and complexity behind RAW files and their role in creating the images that everybody loves.

professional Maryland newborn photographer

What are Raw Files?

Let’s first explained what the Raw files actually are. RAW files are unprocessed, high-quality image files that contain all the data captured by a camera’s sensor. They offer photographers great flexibility for adjustments during editing and also require specialized software. RAW files are pretty large and contain more detailed information about the photo’s capture settings.

3 more important reasons why I do not share Raw files with my clients.

1. First of all , the RAW files are unprocessed and require specialized software to view and edit.

In the world of photography, RAW files represent an unedited foundation of a visual masterpiece. Unlike widely used JPEGs, they are untouched and contain data straight from the camera. However, unlocking the full potential of RAW files the specialized software and technical expertise are needed. Often it may be beyond the average client’s knowledge. These files hold many details such as exposure and color corrections. This require a very specific tools for manipulation and plenty of experience to use it. That’s why as a professional Maryland newborn Photographer I prefer to deliver images to my clients JPEG format instead. This approach not only simplifies the viewing process for clients but also preserves my artistic vision and maintains a consistent brand presentation.

2. Second of all, I do not share those files because I believe that allowing access to unedited RAW files may compromise my artistic vision and brand consistency, as clients could potentially apply edits that stray from my intended style.

Giving clients RAW files is tricky for every professional photographer. These files are the unaltered essence of the artist’s work, open to extensive modifications. Clients might make edits that do not represent the unique and creative style of the photographer. It may also impact negatively the consistency of brand and identity of the photographer. To maintain my brand consistency, I prefer delivering beautifully edited images, ensuring the final product resonates authentically with my artistic vision and maintains a cohesive brand image. I prefer that clients do not alter my images and do not make any changes to my artistic vision.

3. Finally, RAW files are large and may overwhelm with technical complexities.

RAW files, being large and technically complex, can be overwhelming for clients without the right software. These files contain every detail from the camera’s sensor, resulting in hefty sizes. When I provide edited images, like JPEGs, it simplifies the viewing experience for clients and gives me, as a professional Maryland newborn photograper control over quality and presentation. I provide final product in hi resolution that represent my style and my artistic vision and offering my clients a satisfying interaction with the final product.

In conclusion, I choose not to share RAW files for practical, artistic, and consistency reasons. RAW files are complex and require specialized software, making them challenging for clients. Sharing them could risk changes that can potentially put the images far away from my artistic vision and style of photography. deviate from the my style. Delivering edited images in common formats is also a strategy to simplify the client’s experience. It’s a way that prioritizes client satisfaction while maintaining the photographer’s unique creative vision.

If you are interested to learn more about my photography do not hesitate of check my social profiles : Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest to take a look into my newborn Portfolio page.
