Maryland Milestone Photography session is designed to capture a significant moment in your child’s life. In their first year, this may include tummy-time, sitting, standing, and walking. As they continue to grow, these sessions will likely become less frequent and more of a yearly tradition to commemorate their birthdays!
These significant milestones for your little one are precious and deserve to be captured. As a parent, you know how quickly time flies and babies grow up. That’s why scheduling milestone sessions throughout your newborn’s first year allows you to preserve these special memories for years to come.
2. 3 MONTH OLD SESSION.
During this Maryland Milestone Photography session, we will focus on capturing the irresistible smile of your baby. As a parent, I cherished this stage in the early months. There was nothing more heartwarming than seeing my daughter and son’s toothless grins whenever they caught sight of me. Our main objective for this session is to freeze those precious expressions and smiles of your little bundle of joy. Additionally, some babies may have developed enough strength to engage in tummy time and hold their head up during the shoot. Rather than scheduling at precisely 3 months, consider booking when your child is frequently displaying their joyful smiles and laughter in your presence.
3. SITTER SESSION ( 6-9 MONTH OLD).
One of the most enjoyable Maryland Milestone Photography Sessions for me are the 6 Month Milestone or Sitter Sessions! These sessions showcase the new skill of sitting up. They also bring attention to the noticeable changes in a baby’s appearance. Some little ones may now have enough hair to style into a sprout or clip back. For some perhaps even their first tooth has emerged! Usually, this session is scheduled between 6-9 months, depending on your baby’s individual development. Babies closer to nine months may already be crawling and can often stand while holding onto furniture or someone’s hands. Let’s be honest, this age is just too cute for words!
4. Older Child.
Milestone sessions for older kids, whether it be at 15 months, 3 years, or twelve years, are always full of adorable moments. It brings me joy to capture the unique and growing personality of your child. I am able to include your interests in the milestone session, by incorporating items from your own home or utilizing various props available in the studio. This will result in stunning and one-of-a-kind images that will hold a special place in your family’s memories.
